Mrs. Wendy Ivey is one of the sixth grade social studies
teachers at Burke County Middle School. She attended Georgia
Southern for four years to be a teacher. Mrs. Ivey said
"College was hard, but yet is was still fun."
Mrs. Ivey has one child who will be two on Christmas Eve. His
name is Payton. Mrs. Ivey and her husband, Kyle, have been married
for almost 5 years. Her family also consists of 2 sisters, 2
stepbrothers, 4 stepsisters, 3 nieces, and 1 nephew.
Mrs. Ivey's birthday is on October 21 and she will be 26. Mrs.
Ivey's favorite subject is math and she wanted to be a math teacher, but
yet she decided to be a social studies teacher instead.
Mrs. Ivey's comments are: "Grades really need to improve;
what you need to do is study, pay attention, do homework, and study class
notes and vocabulary." We now have Class of the Week and
Student of the Week. Students of the past week are as follows:
